Many of us have heard about eczema. It is also called atopic dermatitis. Eczema is characterised by skin inflammation and intense itching, as well as symptoms such as itching, rashes, dry skin, cracked skin, thickened skin, oozing and crusting, and skin darkening. Small, raised bumps on brown or black skin, around the eyes, raw, sensitive skin from scratching scaly patches, blisters, and skin infections.
Atopic dermatitis may turn into atopic syndrome with a bunch of symptoms such as allergies to foods, asthma and inflammation in your eyes. It can sometimes cause a runny nose or dry, itchy eyes.
