Who doesn’t enjoy a lovely summer

Who doesn’t enjoy a lovely summer? and when its summer we talk about the vacations, spring, beaches, the Heat and along with the heat comes the Sunburns ! Auch! They grab hold of your skin so fast and never leave you and go away in the same speed they came in!!!!Isn’t it ?

Since you are reading this blog ,I believe this scorching summer has already done some damage to your sensitive skin since Here are my personal favorite soothing Remedies! I presume you are a stage where SPF isn’t really been able to save your exposed skin layer and you are in need few products or remedies that can help you minimize the after effects of sunburn and make you feel cooler under the skin! And of course do visit your dermatologist for the right solution and may be avoid self help remedies at this point, that may end up increasing the discomfort because we know one thing for sure that summer is far from over yet!

Well without wasting much time let me share my personal favorite tips and tricks to manage that sunburned skin this year! Here we go !

Fluids! – Did you know the summer sun rays can make your skin loose moisture fast and that basically delays your skin repair process? What you should do? Just grab a bottle of water and Hydrate yourself! And facilitate its healing from the Inside! You read that right!

Take Instant Shower but in Cold Water – This is a big reliever. Before this let me tell you Sunburn is a form of Inflammation of your skin. So how do we treat inflammation? Simple by cooling it down with cold water. However we should not rub the affected portion of the skin with the towel or use ice as a remedy as both can worsen your skin condition.

Aloe – the Natural Saviour – Do I even have to explain how beneficial Aloe is for the skin? As it works on multiple skin related issues the same holds true in case of sunburns as well. Direct application of Aloe gel to the affected area from the plant or a buying a pure gel product – both relives you from the discomfort caused by the sun burn.

Relaxed clothing – You need to let your skin breathe as it tries to repair itself from the sun damage. Go for Relaxed clothing, something that avoids contact with your skin and preferably made of material like cotton that accommodates more air flow.

Talk to the Expert – (don’t take chances because its your skin and it shows) –Unable to decide what remedy will work right for your sunburnt skin or feeling that the burn needs expert medical assistance, do feel free to consult a skin specialist without further delays.
